Microneedling for skin tightening and scar reduction

Rejuvenation from the inside out

What is the DermaMax RF?

DermaMax RF is an innovative face and body system that utilizes modern microneedling technology with high intensity fractional RF to repair and rejuvenate the skin from the inside out using a safe procedure with minimum risk of discomfort. By applying high intensity fractional RF energy, its ultrafine needles penetrate deep into the tissues to fight the signs of aging, reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks, and significantly improve the skin’s tone and texture in just minutes.

How does it work?

A powerful combination of microneedling and fractional RF energy for smooth, beautiful skin.

Microneedles

Its ultrafine needles penetrate up to 3.5 into the dermis and distribute the energy evenly in a focalized manner for noticeable and consistent results in every treatment session. The microscopic thermal wounds stimulate a repair response that helps create a new skin without damaging the tissues.

Fractional RF

The effect achieved by the microneedles, combined with the proven thermal properties of the high intensity fractional bipolar RF, provide an incredibly effective treatment by producing controlled heating that increases collagen production and reduces the signs of aging.

Its specialized applicator uses three types of tips especially designed to accommodate to the different body areas. Its small 10 needle tip effectively treats smaller areas such as the eyes, and its 25 needle tip treats medium size areas such as neck and face. Its large tip is designed for broader areas such as the back, legs, arms and abdomen.

4. How does the DermaMax RF tightening and rejuvenation treatment work?

DermaMax RF’s microneedles penetrate from 0.5 mm to 3.5 mm into the skin and apply fractional high intensity radiofrequency at different depths to distribute the heat evenly in a uniform and controlled manner. The needles create microscopic thermal wounds that stimulate the skin’s repair mechanisms to activate the regeneration process. The heat generated by the radiofrequency works at a cellular level to stimulate natural collagen production, tightening the skin and improving elasticity, smoothening fine lines and wrinkles, and creating a lifting effect without the surgeries.

5. What does a DermaMax RF treatment consist of?

The specialist will first meet with you to perform a skin assessment and establish a treatment plan. They will also take before and after pictures to prove its efficacy. The session will begin by applying an anesthetic cream on the treatment area to minimize the risk of pain during the procedure. Once the specialist has selected the treatment settings to ensure patient comfort, they will position the applicator on the treatment area.  The microneedles will gently penetrate the skin to deliver fractional high intensity RF energy causing minimal to no pain. The heat generated in the deeper tissues will stimulate the production of new collagen fibers, activating the skin regeneration process to repair, tighten and rejuvenate it. After the procedure is completed, a cool mask with soothing, autoinflammatory and antioxidant properties is applied, followed by a moisturizing lotion and a sunscreen of at least 50 SPF. You will be able to return to your daily routine without the need for recovery time.

6. How often should treatments be performed?

The frequency depends on the treatment area and the condition that is being treated. For facial and neck rejuvenation, 2 to 4 treatments (once a month) are required. For scar and stretch mark reduction, 4 sessions (once a month) are needed to achieve the desired results.

7. What does the aftercare consist of?

You will be able to resume your daily activities immediately after the treatment. To maintain the results, we always recommend applying a sunscreen lotion of minimum 50 SPF and avoiding sun exposure to protect it from the UV rays, as well as the use of saunas several days after the procedure. It is important to drink plenty of water, keep the skin hydrated, avoid abrasive products and refrain from waxing the treated area for at least 30 days after the treatment.

8. What results can I expect?

By the end of the treatment series the skin’s appearance and texture significantly improve as it recovers its youthful firmness, smoothness, and elasticity. Fine lines and wrinkles fade, enlarged pores become smaller, the skin tone evens out, and scars and stretch marks become lighter, resulting in a new beautiful skin that feels and looks softer, brighter and healthier.
