8. What is the pretreatment care?
To maximize results, it is recommended to perform a microdermabrasion with DermaMax once a week before and during the treatment series. Additionally, Accutane must not be taken during a minimum of 6 months prior to the beginning of treatment. If the patient is taking any other medication, it is important to make sure it is not photosensitizing to avoid side effects.
9. How long does the treatment take?
Each session lasts only 12 minutes for fair skin. Darker skins require 14 minutes since the deeper layers of the skin absorb less light.
